California Cows

This piece was inspired by the gorgeous California hills in the Salinas Valley, where I spent my childhood. I have always loved cows, who have such sweet faces that hold so much expression. This piece was painted in acrylic inks on paper, mounted on a cradled wood panel and finished with 4 coats of Golden UV/dust/dirt protectant and one coat of wax for extra protection and added sheen.
