Golden Barn Owl

Barn owls are my favorite - they are found on every continent and make their nests in tree holes, crevices, caves and manmade structures. The males do flight displays to attract females and they remain monogamous for their entire life. Another reason to love these beautiful birds - they keep rodents in check and are amazing nocturnal hunters!
