Winterberry Bear

Acrylic ink on paper, mounted on wood panel. This piece, like my “Twin Grizzlies,” was inspired by both the grizzlies at the SF Zoo and the two that I met on Grouse Mountain in Vancouver. The image of these larger than life bears feeding on little red berries has always made me smile, and I wanted to capture that feeling in this piece.
