Summer Cougar

The fourth and final piece in my mixed media Seasons collection, “Summer Cougar,” 11x14” acrylic inks. I wanted to capture the feeling of hills and wild grasses turning from green to gold, as they do in California every summer. I also wanted this piece to reflect the potential for wildfires each summer in western states as well as locations around the world each summer, which drastically affects our wildlife and destroys their habitats. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by devastating wildfires this year.
